Server hardware and software setup are paramount in any IT system. Our experience and understanding of system usage in schools has allowed us to define a setup structure that can cope with any eventualities arising in this demanding environment.
3Tech Systems incorporate the guidelines layout by BECTA to provide a system infrastructure that can accommodate the “Managed Learning Environment” ethos. We utilise products that are specifically designed for this purpose such as Equinet CachePilot, which provides hosting of cached media for presentation and learning i.e. Espresso.
Security, client protection and monitoring are key features of any system. Our installations include products such as NetSupport that allow total control of workstation activities. It also provides teachers with interactive capabilities for all workstations within a room or entire school. This is a very powerful product and is highly recommended.
