The system design had been tested thoroughly during use of the existing installations (from our previous whiteboard package installs). The customer was happy with the reliability and versatility of these systems. Connectivity between the video sources (SVGA PCs in this case) was acceptable and the projectors performed well at the room light levels.
We knew that retro-fitted security devices would be mounted onto the projectors. This would add considerably more weight to the bracket and must be proven safe before we continued. Additionally, in the asbestos rooms, where mounting plates would be fitted by another contractor, we would need to ensure these were fitted extremely securely. It would be unsafe for these plates to move at all during installation as any dust generated could potentially contain asbestos.
