Brief
3 Tech Systems Ltd have recently completed a RMS & EPOS roll-out for one of our leisure equipment manufacturers that have retail outlets throughout the UK. The system would need to provide full stock control, sales commission allocation, EPOS terminal management and flexible account reporting from multiple stores. All of this information must then be linked back to the companies head office.
In this instance the customer had attempted to scale up an existing software package that was being used in just one store. This proved totally ineffective and was dropped after initial trials. It would be necessary for us to demonstrate a multiple site RMS/EPOS configuration and prove its effectiveness.
Stock control, monitoring and analysis would be required for each outlet and all accounting data must be provided in a clean simple format. Consideration must also be given to “link loss” issues; if a stores data link fails provision must be provided for data integrity after the link has been re-established.
Our responsibilities would also include all necessary network infrastructure installation and setup, RMS data import from an existing stock database and training of staff on the operation of the system.
