Network Cabling Infrastructure Installation
Assessment

During the initial site survey it was apparent that the cable routes would require some level of modification to the existing fittings. It would be impossible to route the number of cables required without moving or modifying some of the internal features of the build.

Other considerations were the location of the servers and data cabinets, which had been allocated to the basement and the feasibility of using floor boxes for some of the upper floor points to allow easier access via existing removable floor boards. These points were added to the design specification and approval sought as necessary.
